Stop pollution from contaminated soil
The dispersal of substances that are persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic, and of other substances that give rise to an equivalent level of concern, from contaminated soil will be stopped or substantially reduced. Steps to reduce the dispersal of other substances that may cause injury to health or environmental damage will be taken on the basis of case-by-case risk assessments.

Stop pollution from contaminated seabed sediments
Contamination of seabed sediments with substances that are hazardous to health or the environment will not give rise to serious pollution problems.
