Are we moving in the right direction?
In 2009, about 290 tonnes of HCFCs were imported to Norway. By way of comparison, imports in 1998 totalled 1070 tonnes. Norway is following the EU phase-out plan for reducing consumption of HCFCs. This is a more ambitious timetable than that set out in the Montreal Protocol.
