Are we moving in the right direction?
Local government statistics show a general rise in the number of municipalities where cultural heritage plans have been adopted over the past 10 years. Just over a third of all municipalities have now drawn up such plans. This is encouraging, and a sign of growing awareness among local authorities of the importance of protecting the cultural heritage.
